Next Challenge

I think that Mike brought this up before, and we talked to Primrose about it this weekend. For the next round, I propose that we keep the point system for pounds lost, but then also figure out how to award points for exercise.

We could have a variety of categories, for example:

2o minute walk

10 minute bike ride

20 minute run

1 flight of stairs

10 minute walk

1 hour workout

20 minute roller blade

What are some of the other things that you do? Obviously the list above is gleaned from my own life ;)

Mark and I are in for another go around of weight loss. We except your challenge, Mike!

As for this weekend...should we do it at a later time because we just saw each other? With everyone just traveling and with Cecilia and Tristan on the road to State DI there is going to be a lot of traveling by people. We would be ok suspending the weekend until a later date...maybe Labor Day? Thoughts??

Burda Kids advance to Affiliate Finals

Hey all,

Both Cecilia and Tristan's DI teams advanced to State. Cecilia's team won first place and Tristan's team won fourth place.

State is held in Kearney on April 4.

Hey all...I tried to comment on your post Stac, but it wouldn't let me so I will post instead. I'm glad everyone is feeling better! I hate to be a pest, but if you have a few pictures of Gianna and maybe a few of Rosalia and Gianna together from the weekend, I was hoping you could send them to me. I want to make a "thank you" picture card and I only have one picture that I like to use. Thanks a million!

I think we're finally feeling better...

...at least I hope! We're all still pretty congested, and Mike and I each had issues with our ears as we came down. Happily, my ear finally popped yesterday. I can still feel fluid there though. Tristan was very sick on Monday night and stayed home from school yesterday.

We are in the final few days before our regional DI competition.

First of all We love you all so much always know that!! I think that this blog is a great way to grow in support of each other. Bill we are so proud of you and know that it has not been easy.You have done a great job we will continue to give you complete support.
I ask a favor of you all Kathy Martinsen husband Bill had open heart surgery today and on friday if he is strong enough they will do cancer surgery for colon cancer would you remember them in your prayers. Thanks God Bless you all
